In November 2020, we hosted a virtual workshop at the Informs Virtual Conference. The Workshop was split up into three parts about GAMS, GAMS MIRO and GAMS Engine.
In this third part of the workshop Freddy explains what GAMS Engine is, and demonstrates the various ways to interact with Engine, especially how to use the Python API to solve a typical two part energy model with an “Invest” and a “Dispatch” component.
Apologies for the bad audio at the beginning. It gets better after a few seconds!
